Fungi

I didn't think it was really the right time of the year for fungi but we had rather a healthy looking crop of fungi growing in one of our plant pots. It seemed to be competing for space with the box plant so I decided to dig it out.  I'm not sure what type of fungi it was or whether it was edible or not but there was certainly more than enough for a risotto...not that I would chance it even if I had been able to identify it as safe to eat.
