Parched

We’re getting to that time of year where the long grasses are looking a bit parched, but that still offers plenty of variety in colour and texture.  And the rain forecast for the rest of my leave week might revive the greenery.

13 & 16yo are now in summer holiday mode, so we wandered down to the sport courts for the afternoon and played some tennis and cricket. 

On the way back up the hill I popped into the graveyard where I met this Ringlet.
