Gatekeeper

Just a small walk down to the woods and Red Brick Dam today.  

There was a lot of damselfly activity on the dam, and I saw another Emperor dragonfly along with a Brown Hawker and a Broad-bodied Chaser. 

The first of the summer brood of Peacock butterflies are now out, but as this is the first decent photo of a Gatekeeper that I’ve managed so far this summer I thought I’d share that.
