Towing

A few hours practising towing dinghies out. With the influx of new Scouts we have a lot who have never sailed before. We launch from a busy and often tricky slip so realise that we needed to come up with a plan. Two of us with our Scout PB permits have had a go and are fairly happy. 2 other leaders (plus an Explorer and Smallest) volunteered as guinea pigs to be towed, released and ‘recaptured’. A really successful and useful ‘drill’.
