Sunflowers

In complete contrast to yesterdays gentleness I have these brash things. I wondered if the home delivery system could be trusted with flowers after I've seen what can happen to a loaf of bread.

Well, they arrived safely, unscathed. A big, bold touch of colour for the house. I don't know why I don't pretend we still have children at home and grow them in pots. They're so easy to grow as I remember, with the bonus of blips of the buds and unfurling petals.
