Crossing Columbia...
after a huckleberry scouting trip to Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Not a cloud in the sky again, so warm. We had lunch in the midst of the forest, picked some berries, swam at our favorite lake. Rain is badly needed for the berries, and the people. No campfires are allowed because of the extreme fire danger.
In the extra is our lunch spot among the giant firs.
