Tour de Ryedale

Decided on a bike ride this morning. Planned to do a hilly route but this nearly didn’t happen when I discovered a flat tyre. However on pumping the tyre up and inspecting for punctures decided to give it a go. 

Met a lot of groups on their bikes nearly all were men busy whizzing down the hills I was struggling up! Stopped to catch this old shed for Derelict Sunday, which seems to have declined since I last rode past.

This afternoon had a short walk at Cawthorne Camps. I was asked where the Roman camps were - all that remains are embankments. I was amazed to see Marble Whites have set up home there. The extra shows two for the price of one on this Knapweed. Good to see butterflies making a come back.
