Two out of three
Luke spent last night at home, and he and Gavin were up very early this morning to go play golf. I walked Xena in the woods and managed to avoid the threatening rain, and although cloudy it was still rather warm.
After golf Tommy and I joined them at the golf club for lunch. It was very pleasant outside so we started out meal sitting outside but then it started raining so we had to move inside. I took a photo of the two boys before we moved inside. Tommy's hair is still wet from his shower in this photo, so it looks rather slicked back, and thankfully he has a hairdresser appointment this week to get his hair trimmed. Sadly Adam was not with us as today he was moving into a new flat in Cambridge so it was a busy moving day for him. We will go up next weekend to help him with all the DIY that is always needed after moving into a new home, and he said he did not need us today for the actual move.
It has rained all afternoon and we even had thunder, but it has been pleasant to sit inside with all the windows open for a cool breeze and hear the falling rain.
Our health minister is in trouble for saying we must not 'cower from this virus'. Personally I saw it as a message saying we must get our vaccines and learn to live with the virus, which is surely what we have to do?
Day Two of the Olympics and Team GB got their first medals, but also some upsets.
