Happy or sad

The weather men were right, we did wake up to a covering of snow this morning!

I bought these violas at the weekend, to plant out. in some pots.
Thought they would brighten up the garden as we still only have snowdrops out.
Their little faces are still looking happy even in these cold conditions! Although this one looks a bit sad with it's head bent.

Doesn't sound as if there is any better weather coming our way for the next few days.

So it will be warm hearty comfort food, a glass of red wine and the cosy wood fire, to keep us going for the rest of the week!
