Check out Maureen's Mojo

I spied today's Blipfoto picture, taken at the Melbourne Grand Prix, when Maureen Polson posted it on her Facebook page yesterday. Maureen is one of 13 people from Mojo Edinburgh who are taking part in the Edinburgh event and inspired by our New York backdrop photographs, couldn't miss a great photo opportunity for The Kiltwalk. It may not be taken from the highest point, or have the most spectacular scenery, however without doubt, it's the picture taken from the furthest spot on the map and another first for The Kiltwalk, so well done Maureen.

So being of the nosy, or what I like to call the "inquisitive" type I dropped Maureen a line to find out what Edinburgh 'Mojo' is all about as when someone mentions mojo to me, I immediately think of Austin Powers.

Armed with my laptop and Google I wasted no time in researching "Edinburgh Mojo" however before I found the page I was looking for I was offered all sorts of help from all sorts of people and webpages.

I had people offering to help "Find my Mojo", while others wanted to advise "What's Killing Your Mojo? For those of us who have 'Lost our Mojo' then there is plenty of advice explaining, why we lost it and if it is lost, no need to worry as I found advice on '10 ways to get my Mojo' back!!

All extremely confusing and I can't make up my mind if I had a Mojo in the first place, never mind whether I've lost it, or indeed want it back.

What I did find out was that Mojo Edinburgh is an online group which has lots and lots of great social events, pub nights, cinema, meals, theatre, festival shows, inspiring speakers and Ceilidh's. So if that sounds like your kind of thing and are good fun to spend time with, why not give them a shout.

They have a number of Mojo Kiltwalk fundraising events lined up, which is something we've seen a lot of this year and I'm sure several of you might be interested to know they're hosting a Kiltwalk Ceilidh at St Brides, Edinburgh on the 24th May.
