Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

By Carol

2021 — Friday with Tristan

We ate a late breakfast, French toast, at 10:00 and I said “Okay, we need to eat lunch at 2:00 so we don’t mess-up our dinner schedule today.

So Tristan asked Grandpa if they could ride bikes and pretty quickly they were ready to pedal toward an adventure. I told them in no uncertain terms that they were not to stop anywhere to eat, that we all needed to eat together.

At 1:50 p.m. I sent Mr. Fun. a text explaining that I was hungry and I was going to start making spaghetti for our mid-day meal. Within 10 minutes they were home.

We were done eating at 2:30. I told them we’d go to Tognazzini’s Dockside too for a light evening meal about 6:00. They thought that sounded good.

We put leashes on the pups and decided we’d take them to Tideland’s Park to walk and we did after a brief stop at the Achievement House Thrift Store where Tristan bought a baseball and bat.

After a nice long walk with the pups, we drove to the parking lot at Morro Rock. Tristan enjoyed that area and we did too as we watched the surfers. Then we headed to Dockside Too for some food. Tristan had fish & chips, Mr. Fun had chicken strips, and I had a corn dog.

After we got home, later in the evening I made strawberry short cake and I captured a photo. I think Tristan has had another enjoyable day.
