Eastern Tiger Swallowtail

We spent much of the morning watching the Opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics. Once Laura got back from work early afternoon, we went hiking at Long Branch Farm. The weather is heating up, so it was a rather warm walk. We saw quite a number of butterflies in the meadow areas, but this particular one I chose for my blip was actually on the planters on our patio. He was very attracted to the Lantana, and was feeding virtually the whole time we were sitting out there eating dinner - a delicious Sesame Chicken salad Laura had made for us. Every now and then, he would fly off to one of the other containers, but always came back to the same one!
