The Hill House.

We went to the Hill House in Helensburgh this morning- it was about 25 years since our last visit…. And so much has changed. More rooms open, but the building has deteriorated significantly.

Thankfully, the NationalTrust for Scotland decided to save the structure from further deterioration by building a box around it to help it dry out. It’s quite fascinating as there are walkways around it and you can see the building from angles that you wouldn’t normally be able to.

I’ve included some extras of the building and the Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed objects.
