Let The Games Begin

The day we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived, but most assuredly it’s our athletes who are most excited. They have worked and trained so hard, and sacrificed so much, to be here for these AOG games • The Opening Ceremony was held this morning under sunny blue skies. Only a limited number of athletes and fans were allowed to attend this extravaganza to ensure the health and safety of ALL competitors and volunteers • I found Captain Andrena of Team Mining Bee at the Black Knight Arena inside the Hollyhock Concourse. With her first qualifying round scheduled for tomorrow she chose to skip the Opening Ceremony for a few practice reps. She’ll then rest and mentally prepare for the Individual Pollen Sprint event • Be sure to check back in tomorrow to see how Andrena and her fellow teammates perform!
