I went to see my oldest friend for an hour today. She has been amazing and although I haven't seen her as often in recent years, she has been a rock since my husband was first diagnosed.

Just leaving the house has been a challenge so I have been trying to do a few things. Had a nice hour in her garden amongst the flamingos.

Managed to get to the supermarket for a bit of a shop, a few microwave meals will have to suffice for the time being until I feel like cooking again.

Just got back from my second covid vaccine. I was complemented by 2 different nurses about how lovely my sundress was. Will have to ditch the jeans more in future! I brought the vaccine forward a week as I might be fit for nothing by the end of next week if I start back at work. Did a couple of hours today and one of the partners called me for an hour which was lovely. Working for a company that is letting me set my own pace and agenda certainly takes the pressure of.
