Green Shield Bug

A welcome breeze today but still ridiculously hot for us in the north. 
Another garden safari turned up this little fellow on the geum. It was teeny tiny and I think it's a young green shield bug. I don't think that they are particularly harmful in my garden, at least not on its own, although I'm sure it must have some relatives somewhere. I'll keep my eye out for them, but so far have only seen two. 

This afternoon I am sat watching the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics - so far, it's not a patch on London, but then I guess they didn't have an Oscar winning director in charge!
