Elephant Hawk Moth #5

Early this morning my neighbour called me into her garden to show me this beautiful moth. It's an Elephant Hawk Moth, so named because the caterpillar resembles an elephant's trunk apparently. 
It was a huge moth, bigger than any I've seen before and had ended up in their moth trap. Normally they just get small ones, but when this one turned up she said she had to show me. Isn't it just amazing. 
I have been seeing many more moths recently, especially in the evenings when I have been doing the watering. 
Another scorching day - I'll be glad when it cools down at the weekend, but by then I will be sitting indoors watching the Olympics in front of a fan anyway  :)
