Shining grasses

We have tired to encourage wild flowers to grow in the bottom part of our garden, but there are still a lot of grasses there.  I thought they looked lovely in the sun this morning.  

We had coffee at a friend’s house this morning.  Even though it was really hot again, there was at least a breeze and I got a bit of gardening done.
