A lovely day out

A very leisurely get up and coffee in the garden in my shady spot this morning. We went for lunch at chouxchouxbedo in Newton Le Willows. It is owned by a friend of hers from Bradford. They had a lovely catch up and we had a lovely lunch and a delicious piece of Victoria sponge, full of cream and strawberries. 
I drove on to Crosby to sit by the sea, we stopped at Waterloo first but it was really busy. It was very quiet at Crosby. We had a lovely sit and it was very pleasant. It was so nice in the car with the aircon on, it has been very hot today. Hope it cools down a bit so we can sleep!
