China cup and saucer

After I had showed Breeda my cupboard full of stuff I never use her wise words were 'get them used. They will only end up in a skip so enjoy them!' This cup and saucer is part of a breakfast service Simon loved, but we never used. I actually saw exactly the same on the dining room table at Dunham Massey. Needless to say Breeda insisted in having her cup of tea in it at breakfast.
I took her to Blackburn train station the scenic route, so glad I did. As I came home the motorway was at a standstill all the way up the M6 (going North!) for miles and miles. Everyone going to the Lakes, Scotland, Blackpool etc. Not a day to be stuck in a car. It is cooler, a lovely breeze.
