A life on the ocean wave

We don't go back to work until Monday so thought we would continue our holiday at home. Another hot day so we strapped the Canadian canoe to the car roof and took off for a local loch. KK opted to go to the gym and out with his mates instead.

It was quiet and cool on the water so we had a lovely explore and watched the seal from a distance. There were also loads of grayling butterflies on the rocks so I had to get a photo, see extra, Once we had wrestled the canoe back onto the car roof we then went in for a swim in the loch. Not a thing I do often but it wasn't cold.

Lots of lovely salad from the green house with a lamb steak for tea, very tasty.
