Preparing for the exhibition

It has been too hot to spend time outdoors for most of the day. I did a few jobs in the courtyard and planted a lettuce first thing. Then our friends’ dog arrived so we took on dog sitting duties. Our friend had a dentist appointment in Gerona to have a crown fitted. Dental work is much cheaper in Spain but it is a long way to go if you have toothache! Amazingly there were no EU Covid pass checks at the border when they went through both going and coming back. Tomorrow we have to set up the local art group’s exhibition so I decided to finish off this painting to accompany some others I will take down.
