Nestling in the valley

Today we did a six hour walk, 15 km and 600 m of ascent which took us above the village of Prats Balaguer and up to the refuge. The scenery changed all the way and really opened out as we got to nearly 2000 metres. It was a hot day but a little cooler at that altitude and the mountain flowers and butterflies were in abundance. It was a very beautiful walk but now I’m ready to put my feet up.
