Another very hot and sticky day. We drove over to Leeds to see my mother-in-law at lunchtime and I could have stayed in the car all day with the air conditioning on!! Now home and I’m sitting in the shade in the garden. My hydrangeas are starting to flower, although I don’t expect to get any on my favourite blue one this year after cutting it back drastically due to it getting  so frost damaged. It was also getting too big, so needed a good prune.
