This evening was our final outdoor choir rehearsal at the rugby club before the summer break and it was still 24c when we started at 7.30pm. We were treated to a lovely sunset towards the end of our rehearsal. I will miss our outdoor singing sessions, it has been great to be back together again and hopefully in September we may be able to sing indoors again.

It has been another very hot day and we were looking after our youngest granddaughter this morning. The sun was too hot to be outdoors with her so we stayed inside with all the doors and windows open. She was very laid back lying on the floor ‘reading’ her Peppa Pig book with a bit of a breeze through the open patio door,
