Bridgnorth to Arley and back

A fab day out to celebrate suzy's birthday. Up very early to meet up for a trip over to bridgnorth. Small changes as normal but we were out on the water by 10 am. I had a canoe with A and we set out for the first 6.5 miles to Hampton Loade, got used to steering very quickly, scenery was spectacular. Almost missed our stopping point, but had a lovely picnic in the sun, some people were even swimming in the river. Back in for final leg to arly, apparently Suze fell in during crossing the narrow grit Bank- whoops! After a well deserved drink back on the steam train back to bridgnorth and then a pub meal at the Old Castle pub before a long trip home tired but happy
