Hannah and Geordie
We started the day with a march around our favourite wood. A march because I kept Geordie on the lead so we needed to walk faster so he got good exercise. Of the lead he probably walks about three times as far as I do.
We stopped at Pathhead Nursery on the way back to see what plants they had left. We got some Dianthus, a Veronica, a Nepeta, and an Alstroemeria. All at reduced prices. So we got home happy with my purchases and duly planted them and gave them a good soaking.
Then it was time for Hannah, Maggie’s 4yr old sister, to arrive for the day and sleepover.
The afternoon just disappeared with fun and games, and fairies, and playing with Geordie. Hannah loves to have photos taken with Geordie, then instructs me on whom to send them to.
Meal, bath and bed followed, with stories and songs, of course.
Now I can’t even be bothered to turn on the telly, so think I will go to bed too.
Extra is a collage of fallen leaves in the wood this morning.
