Summer is here

These past few days of sunshine and extremely warm nights remind me of the summer of ’76. My lasting memories are of starting work in the laboratory at six o’clock and finishing at two, the air temperature at six is still 16 degrees but feels quite refreshing whilst cycling through the quiet roads here in north Devon.
With cousin H and R visiting a barbecue was planned and enjoyed by all in the shade as the sun dipped below the town.
