Yaffle!

On my early morning exercise this morning I walked with a friend and heard several of these beautiful creatures.
J hadn’t ever recognised the call of a green woodpecker and was grateful for the knowledge gained.
We also saw roe deer, buzzards, several charms of goldfinches, nuthatches etc etc.
This is a blip of my knitted version of a green woodpecker bought for me by a very special friend.
