I made a quick early morning trip to town to pick up a few groceries to tide us over until our weekly shop on Friday. I remembered that some Hul'q'umi'num words and art had been painted on blocks at the parking lot of the local school district office and decided to take a couple of photos. Great to see more recognition of Indigenous languages and cultures happening. I know some Hul'q'umi'num words from my work in Cowichan territory, not always easy to get the pronunciation correct! 
Watering and pruning in the garden, a phone consultation with the doctor, a catch up on blip - a good day.
