Guess who!

My mum gave Renata a gift of a Dr. Seuss book a month, and we loved reading them! I should have kept them for the granddaughters, but who knew we would have two of them? I donated them (the books, not the granddaughters) to a school library, and I'm sure lots of kids enjoyed them.
The small rural school  where we taught when we started our careers didn't have a librarian one year, so I filled in. What a joy it was to be surrounded by the younger kids when they came to the library and read Dr. Seuss books to them!
This stuffed Cat in the Hat is in the window of a shop.
Another busy day - an early walk before it got too hot, work in the garden, a batch of pesto made, and a potato/onion/zucchini/tomato dish/ slow cooking in the oven. Plenty of zucchini ready, so I have to search out my good recipes for them. Neighbour Bill and some of G's golfing buddies are enjoying them too. Good to share.
Extra: someone lost a mask - a young boy, I think!
