Lismore Jetty

Our ferry from Oban to Barra was cancelled. We were informed by text the night before. This meant hurriedly re-booking accommodation. Not easy when due to the pandemic everyone seems to have come to Scotland. But, on the plus side, it meant an extra day in Oban and a day trip to Lismore - a delightful island about 7 miles long and an hour away from Oban. With very few cars and a cafe in the middle which was walkable whether you arrived from Oban or Appin by ferry it made for a perfect day out.
