Bonxie

A morning bike ride - shortish but with maximum elevation and the usual wind blowing here, there and everywhere, I reckon that a 20+ mile ride here in Shetland is as tiring as a 40+ one back home.

Off to Lerwick after lunch to meet up with our pal. She'd booked a 'seabirds and seals' boat tour for us, 3 hours around the islands of Bressay and Noss, whose cliff faces are home to huge colonies of...let's see....kittiwakes, gannets, guillemots, puffins, fulmars, black backed gulls, shags,  Arctic terns, great skuas and possibly another one or two that I've forgotten  Spectacular.

The tea out afterwards weren't bad either.
