Morcote

An early bike ride for me, to escape the heat. I headed in the other direction along the lake, in the cool shadow of the hills above, and found myself at Morcote, a beautiful tourist spot, in the quiet sleepiness of a summer's morning. Picturesque and perfect. I continued to Melide and headed back the same way, as the views were so breathtaking.
After dinner I drove M along the same route as sun descended beyond the distant hills. It was very special. We feel so lucky to be discovering this area as our new patch.
