St Peter- on- the- wall

went to see this old chapel, dating from about 660AD, at Bradwell- on--sea this afternoon.  Extra is of the very simple interior. 
Had a walk along the beach afterwards where there are the remains  of lots of wooden poles in the water , the remains of a Saxon fishing contraption.   Luckily a nearby pub is open all afternoon for what was then a rather late lunch.
