Too hot for the fish to bite?

I took this at 9am when cycling alongside the Long Water near Hampton Court. Just the one fisherman. I spoke to him and he said he had not had one bite yet and despite having the shelter he was so hot and sweaty he was thinking of packing up and going home already. 
Also on Home Park we’re several very large lorries which we’re collecting the last things from the Hampton a court Flower Show…the tracks that were put down on the grass for vehicles to drive on…not needed today but a couple of weeks ago it was very wet and muddy. What contrasts we have seen in the weather over the past few weeks.
