Busy Day

I woke up too early this morning. After breakfast, I wrote for 90-mins and then headed out later than planned. 

I'm just starting to feel human again after my COVID jags and seem to have lost lots of fitness. There was a good tailwind as I flew down the coast on the bike, all the way to Aberlady, up to Myreton Motor Museum and then back home into the headwind. I definitely didn't feel fit and it started to get very hot too. 

It was a relief to stop, at Leith Market to get things for lunch. The Sicilian nut people were there so I spent a fortune. Their nut cannoli are amazing. 

After lunch, Rosemary & I walked to the Botanic Gardens. Sheeesh.....it was way too hot but I still love that place. We sat under several trees to cool down. It was a slow walk home.

After dinner, Rosemary phoned her friend so I headed down to the harbour, grateful of the cool breeze.
