Tree
I watched a documentary about David Hockney today. It was fascinating how he looked at seemingly banal landscape and interpreted it in such a way to make it special. His musings fascinating, in which he talked about how past experiences influence what and how we see in the present. Changes in light, in seasons and in mood do so too. Thus, we all see things subtly differently.
This tree is special. It sits alone in the middle of Warriston Playing Fields. I tried my best to isolate further for the picture but it wasn't possible. Like Hockney, I may revisit it in Autumn, to show how it's changed.
