Keba Hates Covid

While the rest of the UK seems to be getting a heatwave, we've had gales, showers and a couple of sunny spells this evening!  Oh well.

Weekend off, and up early, after a great night's sleep.  Some household chores this morning, and then got Sammy out when it stopped raining.  A quiet afternoon about the house.  Been down to mam's this evening, and also along Madeline's for a cuppa.  Might try a pint later. 

While we were out this morning, I swung by friend Julie's, to see how she was.  She got struck down with Covid-19 last weekend, and has been isolating since.  She's had both vaccines, but still been poorly, but described it being like man-flu, as if she would know!! She's feeling much better today, and hopefully on the mend now.  Poor Keba wasn't thinking much of it! Seeing Sammy outside, and not being allowed to come out to play.  Hopefully they'll get a play date soon enough.  I also got my NHS home testing kits today, thankfully negative.  A sad Julie and Keba, Cabin Fever Crescent (Meadowfield), Scalloway.
