Before the heat

Rushed out just after 09:00, to escape the crowds and heat.The traffic was already piling up.

We walked into town via a quiet shady back route. Like yesterday, there was a lovely northerly breeze. Then back home via the churchyard. Got home in one piece. Then flopped.

Saw a video of the beach today. Packed as to be expected. Hotels all full. Last night a couple of fleapits offered their last room for the weekend at ca. £1,000 (2 nights!). Wonder if they had any takers.

The blip is taken in town. At last cafés have outside seating. About time. Very popular as you see.
