Inverness

We seem to have taken residence in a little pub in the noisiest street in Inverness.  Cheerful proprietor, ambitious dinner menu and a comfortable room meant it worked out.   We walked down by the River Ness and found a dozen not dog friendly nicer hotels though.  

Inverness is full of churches in red sandstone mainly Victorian with a large squat cathedral *checks* St Andrews.  We crossed and recrossed the river. Woody hates footbridges and has been subjected to 6 today, three on the walk with @Xtoph1 by the Water of Leith in Edinburgh this morning and three more in Inverness.  He goes completely flat and creeps across.
