Day 7 Cocking - Buriton 20km

It was funny arriving on Harting Down and seeing places familiar from lots of Sunday walks.  It is one of the loveliest stretches of downland too.  The Way doesn’t go up to the top of Beacon Hill but along the central valley which has a lovely secret garden feeling.  Then up to the top by the car park with its breathtaking views out to South Harting, Buster and Petersfield.  We found the last stretch on country lanes up to Buriton car park quite tiring.  Home via leaving the second car at Exton. .
