Returning to the car after an afternoon wander near Thirlmere a paraglider passed overhead. There were 3 others but too distant for photos. It was good to watch them. 

The plumber came in the morning. 45 minutes late but he did let me know about the delay. What a pleasant young man. When he turned the water to the shower on and then the shower there was no leak. Typical !!!!   He did tighten a wobbly washbasin tap and checked under the bath to see if the damp ceiling below was likely to be a result of the initial leak or something else. 

Back home a friend over the road was in her garden. She stopped me from crossing over to talk  ….. she’s in self isolation with her grandson as a bubble at the school she works at has burst.
