Re-evaluating one's life??!

…...............If LOCK DOWN has taught us one thing......... it's taught us to appreciate what we have here and now.

Digging holes is one of the bestest things in my life. Lol. xx

On Saturday we're heading back to Edinburgh. We can't stay in St Ives because our very lovely house is rented out from sat until we return at the beginning of September. Well something has to pay for my treats.

Today I went down to the beach first thing and dug a few holes. Wandered around town and then got left 'home alone' for 5 hours while Ann went up to STAR to do some work. She was hoping to be 'trained' to do some remote work while we're in our Edinburgh home, but that didn't happen.

She spent 5 hours making up linen/towel orders that needed to be picked up tomorrow. OMG. It's busy. For those of you who don't read our Blips regularly................... 5 years ago Ann was the sole office administrator/PA and now they have two full time office staff and about 12 vans and it's busy, busy, busy.


Having said that, every single business in St Ives is struggling and everywhere is looking for staff.  And a lot of businesses are closed because they've been 'pinged' on the app so everyone is having to self-isolate.


FREEDOM DAY ENGLAND........................ on Monday???


We'll be back in Scotland by then.  Haven't a clue what the rules are then???
