Eleagnus
When we were staying at the Loch Melfort Hotel, we treated ourselves to an eleagnus quicksilver for the balcony. The silvery leaves and quite elegant form look good, and it should flower next year. We’re hoping to train it to work its way along the balcony wall. It was either that or the new acquisition, Pandorea jasminoides, but I’d rather wait until this has accustomed itself to its new larger pot.
I’ve not been too far today, because I’ve pretty much been tied to zoom all day. However, I managed a good session on the peloton, and then a walk at lunchtime to get the wherewithal for Mr A to make a chilli, and also to pick up the pot needed for the Pandorea (or jasmine as the shop called it…).
Another glorious day. Shame to ruin it with work.
