Photographic proof that we have a (perfectly legal) visitor this week. It's been lovely to spend some time with him, but he's been working very hard indeed. Interestingly, solicitors don't do video conferences or meetings. Calls are just that. Voice calls only. Lucky them. I'll think of that as I plunge, tomorrow, into two consecutive days of online conferencing and editorial meetings.

We've noted the opening of hairdressers and pubs here in Scotland. L has gone to a pub this evening, but he's sitting outside. We don't have appointments with our respective hairdressers until Friday, so two more days of suffering on that score. But equally, Scotland does seem to have its foot on the neck of the virus, so long may that remain so.
