Everyday Kings and Queens.

I met friend and fellow Blipper A today to revisit an exhibition at St Martin’s in the fields,. I was a little early so walked along The Strand and spotted these banners. I initially thought they were advertising a new production at one of the theatres. When I got closer I could read the information. The idea was sponsored by The Northbank Business Improvement District and is to thank the local heroes who went above and beyond their usual support for the local community.  There’s a website that tells the full stories https://www.thenorthbank.london/event/everyday-kings-queens/
Back to meeting A, we had a coffee ( and maybe a little cake ) before heading to the exhibition. It’s really difficult to explain Adam Dant’s work but my extra shows a close up of one the exhibits. Scottish London. There is so much to see in each print. I think there were 14 prints and we were there about 2 hours perusing the detail. I highly recommend a visit

We ended the the meet up with lunch in Covent Garden, listening to two opera singers and a string  quartet. A fabulous day.
