Abstract Thursday

Another lovely day. So bedding washed and out on the line. Then back to some gardening. Yesterdays shrub that had the heavy prune needed the branches to to go in the recycle bin (didn't do it last night). When I got to the last little pile, what should be sheltering underneath but this slow worm! Think it was as surprised as I was. It moved quickly for cover against the wall, time enough for me to get some phone pics before it found safe cover. 

First one I have seen here in this garden. I have put a second image in extras.

 An appointment this afternoon at the Medical Centre. Think it is for the check on my kidneys. One of these studies that the Practise gets paid for., and one that I am quite happy to support :-)
