Sheep

There was a time when a sizeable proportion of my journal entries featured photos of sheep (hence the name Country File), but since we moved a mere three miles down the road from the farm into the village it's not been as easy to get pictures like this. Also funny to think that by the time this photo was taken around lunchtime, after a visit to see my family back at the farm, the covering of snow we'd had in the village overnight had more or less melted but three miles up the valley it was still very much lying.
This afternoon the girls and I went to a princess themed birthday party. I must admit, though I've nothing at all against little boys, I'm so glad I have three little girls to live out a princess fantasy with. There were pretty dresses, clip clop shoes and more glitter than you'd see in an episode of Strictly. Fabulous. I'm so shallow and lame...Having said that, the birthday girl's two year old brother made an excellent Cinderella.
