Street urchin

He's grubbing around in the dirt looking for a suitable stone to try and boot all the way to his Nan's, she's on a sunday afternoon walk and probably wondering what the urchin is up to playing in the mud.

Earlier I'd gone out for a wet and blustery couple of hours on the bike which was a blast. Then Ruby had made lunch - each Sunday the kids are going to take it in turns to select new recipes and then they'll make a starter, main course and pudding. Ruby's was a great success and included more fruit than they would normally eat in a month so we were all happy. Eve's turn next week.

Then we wandered round to see Nana Alice to say hello, do some DIY and have a catch up.

Even the fact that the dishwasher has packed in couldn't put a dampener on the day. If it's out of action for long though that will be a pain.
